Liverpool determined to sign 17-year-old Germany international


Youssoufa Moukoko has several teams on his trail. But PL giants Liverpool are currently in the box seat for Borussia Dortmund striker’s signature. U21 Germany international will be out of the deal at the end of the campaign, and it is no surprise that the top teams are hovering around him.

Youssoufa is widely regarded as one of the best talents in the Bundesliga and he has a massive future ahead of him. Moukoko has four goals and five assists across all tournaments this campaign, and he has established himself as a crucial footballer for the Bundesliga giants.

The Merseyside giants could definitely use a footballer like him, and it will be interesting to see if they can secure a pre-contract agreement with the 17-year-old centre-forward in the winter. The German centre-forward will be able to negotiate with foreign teams during the winter transfer window.

Alternatively, Bundesliga giants could look to sell the German permanently in the winter so that they can recoup some cash for him. Losing him or a free transfer at the end of the campaign would be a blow for Borussia Dortmund. But considering Moukoko’s potential, the German club will surely look to tie him down to a new deal.

Jurgen Klopp has a proven track record of improving youngsters, and Moukoko could benefit from working under a world-class coach like him. Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino will be out of the deal at the end of the campaign, and Moukoko could be his ideal long-term replacement at Anfield.
