Liverpool closely monitoring €75m-rated Bundesliga midfielder

 

Liverpool and Man United have been handed a massive blow in their efforts to land Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham in the upcoming summer transfer window. The 18-year-old midfielder is one of the best youngsters in world football and continues to go from strength to strength in the Bundesliga.

Despite turning only 18, Jude is an experienced head and has proven himself at the top level. Jude’s potential has been clear since his days at Birmingham, and it comes as no surprise that both Liverpool and Man United continue to monitor his progress.

Jude will add much to both teams’ midfield despite the duo possessing some of the best footballers in world football. Henderson, Milner, Thiago, Keita and Fabinho continue to perform at a high level for Liverpool. However, three of the quintet are in their thirties and will need to be replaced sooner or later by the Reds.

With Milner looking set to depart Liverpool, there is no better time than now for the Reds to bring in the English midfielder. England international has all the traits to thrive in the German manager’s system and makes phasing out Henderson easier.

Given Jude’s potential, it remains unlikely that either Liverpool or Man United will give up on signing the Englishman anytime soon. How it plays out in the years to come stays to be seen.
