NOTTINGHAM FOREST WANT TO SIGN £15M LIVERPOOL DEFENDER
Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Neco Williams from Liverpool in the summer transfer window after losing the race to secure the services of Djed Spence to Tottenham Hotspur, according to 90min.
90min have reported that Forest wanted to sign Spence on a permanent contract from Middlesbrough following his successful loan spell at the City Ground this past season.
The 21-year-old, who can also operate as a right-winger or as a right wing-back, helped the Reds win promotion to the Premier League.
With Tottenham set to sign Spence, Forest have now decided to try for Liverpool right-back Williams and Manchester City youngster Issa Kabore, according to 90min.
In our view, Neco Williams should seriously consider a move from Liverpool to Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window.
The Times have reported that Liverpool are willing to sell the 21-year-old Wales international right-back and are looking for £15 million as transfer fee.
Forest will play in the Premier League next season, and Williams will play at a top level consistently.
That will only help him do well for Wales at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
